It is with heavy heart that we announce the death of our Chairman, Colonel Robert L. McLean, AUS, Retired.

Bob passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening March 22, 2011, at his Manhattan residence after a lingering illness.

Bob was a lifelong member of Squadron A.  An exemplary Trooper and role model for all, he rose through the ranks.  For the last few decades he served in the top leadership positions, first as President and then Chairman of the Board of Governors, the position he held until his death.  Bob was the only Squadron A officer in the history of the Squadron to have served simultaneously as both Chairman and President .

Memorial services are scheduled for 1430 hours (2:30pm) Tuesday, March 29th at the The Church of the Heavenly Rest, 90th Street and Fifth Avenue, Manhattan.  Internment will be private.
